COVID-19 VACCINE

You are no doubt aware that COVID-19 vaccines are now available, both the Pfizer and Moderna products. Most health care workers, including your providers here at Pinehurst Family Care Center, have received the first of the two required doses, and administration is being conducted for residents and staff in the various nursing homes. As part of Phase 1B rollout, individuals over age 75 are now eligible to receive the vaccine. Established patients of Pinehurst Medical Clinic and FirstHealth Primary Care clinics may make an appointment to receive the vaccine through clinics being offered at the Pinehurst Fair Barn on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Patients of our practice that live in Moore County will be eligible to receive it through four day a week clinics at the Moore County Health Department, but pre-registration is required. You may either call (910) 947-7468 between the hours of 8:30 am-4:30 pm seven days a week or visit www.moorecountync.gov/shot to register. Indicate any mobility issues you may have. Additional information is available at www.YourSpotYourShot.nc.gov. At this point, we are not sure if or when we might have one of the current or future vaccines available to administer in our office -- monitor this site for updated information.
